What did you do during the war?
We were hiding all the time in the shelter of my aunt. My father was abroad, and we couldn't return for five days. But I stayed with my aunt’s sons, sharing happiness, sadness.
Did you suffer from food shortage?
No, we were always buying food, and the ambulance was distributing rations.
Did you miss your house especially when you were far from it?
Of course, but I couldn't go to it often because we could not move a lot during the war. |

Where did you sleep? And on what?
I slept in my uncle's house, and we were sleeping on a bed or mattress, but I wasn't comfortable, and I was having nightmares.
Why did you have nightmares?
Because I was afraid and sometimes I saw Israelis entering and capturing people of my quarter. |

Were you happy when war was over?
Of course, I was very happy for the end of the aggression, but I was always afraid of any loud sound and I was afraid the war would return.
Were any of your relatives injured?
No, thank God, but we were all afraid and sad. All my relatives who came to Lebanon left afraid. |

 |
Did they return? Why?
Not all of them, because schools began.
Have you rebuilt your house?
We are rebuilding but not finished yet.
Were you happy during the war?
No, because people were dying because of the Israeli aggression. |
