Moustafa al Hamoud
|
Mustafa lives in Ansar. He works at the water plant and is also a
freelance photojournalist, working for local newspapers. His story is
on reconstruction after the war. Having already shot images of the
damage to many houses during the July war, during the workshop he went
back to the same places and photographed the reconstruction in
progress of these
same houses. |

Amer Fayad |
Amer lives in Ansar. He is a playwright and theater director. He made a series of portraits of both people and landscapes for the workshop. |

Souhair Boukhdoud |
Souhair lives in Ansar. She works at the Kamel Youssef Jaber Social & Cultural Center in Nabatiyeh. One of the things the center does is run training classes for young teenagers who work and are not in school, helping them to develop useful skills. For the workshop she chose to do a story on children who work. She documented Ali, a young shepherd. |

Mahammad Fayad
|
Mohammad lives in Ansar. He is a folklore dancer. He performs and travels regularly. He is very much interested in the growing differences between the traditional way of life and contemporary life. He chose to photograph Beaufort Castle for the workshop, symbolic to Lebanese history. |

Farah Saad |
Farah is from Ansar. She studied banking and also Jazz Ballet. She currently works with children. She made a story on daily life for families in Nabatiyeh, photographing her own family and work. |

Laila lives in Ansar. She is 15 years old and still in school. For the workshop she did a project on Ali, a young painter that she is friends with. She wanted to show a positive portrait of youth. |

Hassan lives in Nabatiyeh. He studied Arabic Literature and now works as an actor and a director. For the workshop, Hassan did a story on a school for children with disabilities. |

Jana lives in Aarouf. She is a university student majoring in biochemistry. For the workshop she photographed university life. |

Diana lives in a town called Aadsheet near Nabatiyeh, and works at the Kamel Youssef Jaber Social & Cultural Center. For the workshop she did a story on the post war distribution of supplies to her community. |

|
Malak lives in Ansar. She is a singer and also a writer – contributing to the newspaper "Southern Affairs." For the workshop she decided to do a story on victims of cluster bombs from the July war.
