workshop: challenging media stereotypes 4 - ebtisamPhotographing with the children is a very interesting and useful experience. In the first exercise I let the students choose a topic and then we went out and they had to choose objects that related to the topic of choice. The students were very attentive and aware to the things we rarely notice while in the streets. This exercise helped the kids to discover different things around them. In the second exercise the kids enjoyed the idea of acting like journalists and making interviews. This helped then in having a chance to talk to each other and was useful in breaking down borders that once existed between them.
