The workshop reflected on the ways young girls use their leisure time. It took place at St-Georges School in Hadath and involved six participants. By focusing on leisure time, we wanted the participants to explore a time that is particularly close to them during which they usually do the things they like. What do they do on their week ends? Where do they go or like to go? The workshop’s aim was to provide a space for imagination and desires by involving the participants in the construction of a narrative, fictive or other. The intention was not solely to explore their direct environment (family, friends, etc) or their position within a set of given roles, but to intervene in these frames of reference through a playful interpretation of them.
