This video is about my experience over 3 months. This experience is one of the greatest in my life; one I will never forget. The video is one of my best works so far, and when I was done making it I felt so proud and happy. I saw I was great. Thank you.

If you want something with all your heart then set it free. If it comes back to you then it is yours to keep, and if not, then it was never yours to begin with.
People face a lot of problems in their lives. It is best to overcome them and look towards the future. My outlook on life has changed and I have come to love the future because it represents what I love.
Onwards and upwards!

In the beginning of my childhood years, I was an innocent child who knows the value of laughter, but not that of sadness. Sadness that has a hold on her country, Lebanon.
Days and years went by and I grew up. I saw the war, and how it damaged Lebanon and made it ugly.
They didn’t leave a stone in its place, and those who left, left.
Who is going to handle seeing his or her children die, helplessly, unable to do a thing about it?
Children are taking in bullets instead of milk. How is it their fault? Is it because they are Lebanese children?
The Future …
Years went by and I became a lawyer. And all the time I had been speaking of freedom. I understood what it meant to be born in Lebanon. I am proud of being born in Lebanon.
But the problem does not lie in Lebanon, it lies in us.
We look for value in the material not in the nation.
Every day we think back and remember how the Israelis retreated after losing.
Nothing is left of them here except words they carved into Lebanon’s rocks.
We should ask ourselves: Lebanon gave us a lot, but what have we given Lebanon?
Our people know how to forgive and forget.
A candle can be blown out, but our love for our country begins anew with each day.
Out of sadness, we create happiness. We carve roads and lives out of the world’s languages.
We live years in seconds.
The tree was a seed, the story was an idea, and we still love and dream that we will reach a better tomorrow.
Even if they destroy us, our tongues will speak for us. If they burn us, our blood will defend us.
Our nation Lebanon is not built on sects or religions, and anyone who tries to take a piece of it is going to encounter Lebanese with bitter blood and hard bones.
Lebanon is back to being more beautiful than it ever was.
This is Lebanon and I won’t accept a country in its place.
You are my country, my country Lebanon.

When I was a child I dreamt of being an air hostess and an important figure in society. I wanted a beautiful home, garden, and a room for each child I had. I wanted a beautiful life. When the problems started, I was left with no nice dreams.
I was left with one dream: death.

When I was a child I used to love Lebanon. I used to dream of being an air hostess, and my heart would break every day, because of the Lebanese who were leaving their home country because of the wars, poverty, living conditions, economic situation, and lack of security.
Every day in our lives the word “death” comes to our minds now.
I have become a young beautiful woman with a big wound inside her. We have lost a lot of young men and only a few are left. No one put up with the pain and stayed in Lebanon. They left Lebanon to suffer alone.
When I was at the airport in the airplane I saw Lebanese who had emigrated to other countries…
25 years later …
The sun of freedom is shining in Lebanon again
The smiles are back on people’s faces in Lebanon and they are holding their heads up high
The people who left have come back to live in Lebanon, their home country
Lebanon is a country that enjoys Independence and freedom
Why should this have happened to Lebanon?
Lebanon is back to being more beautiful than it ever was
I love Lebanon as it is.
Poem:
What’s happening? Why should my country die when homes have been planted all around it?
Mothers are complaining, children are crying, voices are calling out to Lebanon
Habibi (my love), what happened to beloved Lebanon?
From hearts that are crying
Worries on a destined night
Torture is ruling our conscience and drawing our destiny
Habibi (my love), what happened to beloved Lebanon?
